Production Process for 800 and 800XP

BEFORE adding coffee to hopper:

  • Push Cylinder Change button on main screen

  • Ensure correct cylinder is in machine (i.e. Standard 2.61 cubic inch for French Roast blend)

  • Put pods into machine

  • Check stack count number on main screen (i.e. if each stack is 12 pods, 12 (024 cups) should show)

  • Put retail boxes or bulk box in.

  • Ensure coffee dispersing insert (clear insert) is in hopper

  • Ensure you have pods staged and ready to easily insert in machine after each run is complete.

  • Have boxes prepped for fill. Use binder clips for retail boxes for easy swap of filled boxes for empty if applicable. Two tables are recommended if possible (one for prepared empty boxes, and one for filled).

ADD COFFEE:

  • Using LOOSE scoops, evenly distribute (sides and front to back) coffee across top of hopper insert, ensuring no clumps. NEVER DUMP bags of coffee in.

  • Fill hopper HALFWAY, then remove insert and pour LOOSE coffee in middle to fill valley, then replace hopper insert.

START PRODUCTION:

  • IMMEDIATELY press RESET on main screen, and then press START.

  • Fill the hopper to top.

  • ONLY FILL HOPPER WHEN MACHINE IS ACTIVELY FILLING PODS. FILL WHEN HOPPER APPROACHES HALF FULL.

  • NEVER LET HOPPER GET BELOW HALF FULL DURING PRODUCTION.

  • KEEP AN EYE ON THE COFFEE LEVEL IN HOPPER TO MAKE SURE YOU SEE IT MOVING DOWNWARD AS PODS ARE FILLED. If coffee doesn’t move, you have an air pocket. Empty and start from beginning, as you will continue to have issues.

  • On last run of pods, do not add more coffee into hopper if half full. Instead, use wooden spoon or similar to gently run around inside walls of hopper to assist coffee in dropping and not clumping.

  • Don’t tap hopper at any time during production filling of pods. This will create heavy or inconsistent fill weights.
